
Reena Purchase, MSc in Mindfulness-based Approaches; 200 hour RYT (Yoga Alliance); FRSA
Reena has practiced mindfulness almost all her life. She learnt to meditate whilst still at school and has a regular personal yoga and meditation practice. Reena has an MSc in Mindfulness-based Approaches from the Centre for Mindfulness Research and Practice at Bangor University, is a registered yoga teacher and a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts. Reena teaches mindfulness meditation and yoga to individuals and in the workplace. She has delivered courses and workshops in a range of settings and supported many people to access the benefits of mindfulness.
Reena has over thirty five years professional experience in the charitable and social housing sectors, including over twenty years in leadership roles. Most recently Reena set up, led and grew a charity supporting disadvantaged communities in London.
Reena has successfully integrated mindfulness into her leadership roles, building highly motivated and resilient teams of staff and volunteers. She has particular expertise in integrating mindfulness practices to support equality, diversity and inclusion in the workplace. Reena has delivered mindfulness training to social housing, third sector and health organisations alongside her work with individuals and communities. Reena offers mindfulness and yoga training with integrity by adhering to good practice guidelines and building on her personal and professional experience and expertise.
